The Occupy Mohawk campaign was likely such a dud because interest in the Occupy movement as a whole has been declining. Many students we spoke with were surprised at how late Occupy Mohawk organizers joined the campaign. And while the validity of the poster campaign can still be questioned, there is no denying the fact that it was a failed plan.
Taking a look at the trends below, it is clear that after evictions began in November, general interest and coverage of Occupy campaigns dropped significantly.
